KenpoCoach.com is my attempt to bring a full understanding of Kenpo Karate to the public for their consideration. We wish to encourage more people to join us in our American martial art; Parker-Planas Kenpo. To this end, KenpoCoach was created.
KenpoCoach is located in Mount Vernon, Ohio which is near the center of the state in the United States of America.
The owner of KenpoCoach.com Larry Splain would like to do seminars around the world and because this is my goal; I am retraining myself, voluntarily, at Mr. Joe Doyle’s Karate Academy in Mentor, Ohio. At Mr. Doyle’s academy I am learning not only the whys of American Kenpo but also the ways in which to run a successful training system and martial art school. All of my training is periodically looked at by Mr. Richard Planas during the 4 training seminars Mr. Planas performs for Mr. Doyle at the Mentor location each year.
Although Mr. Planas or Mr. Doyle has not committed to do this; it is my hope that either or both men will recommend me for your consideration should you wishes to work with KenpoCoach.com to further your career. Both men are fully respected and leaders of the Kenpo society. Globally speaking you can not associate with a finer man or better trainer of men in Parker Kenpo then Mr. Planas. In the State of Ohio, Mr. Joe Doyle is absolutely hands down the finest Kenpo Instructor the state has.
I would certainly understand and appreciate it if you were to choose to train directly at Mr. Doyle’s Academy instead training with me. Hopefully, you would consider training with both organizations. Mr. Doyle’s and with KenpoCoach.com. But if not, it would truly be an awesome thing for you to be able to train with these two great men. Mr. Planas or Mr. Doyle. (Both of these men could do seminars for you too!)

Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you will bookmark me and return often. Eventually I do intend to offer photos, videos, a blog space, and other features members have requested. I plan to have a member’s only section on this website so that the inner workings of running an American Kenpo school can be made available to paying members. My intention is not to recreate the American Kenpo system. I know you can find plenty of that kind of information free on the Internet. What I am going to offer is information that is not commonly known by martial artist in general. I will be providing the higher educational information and the tools to teach that information (to enhance American Kenpo) using modern methods without altering the art in anyway.
